Ghost Friends: Recap episode 2

Photobucket

The ratings of “Ghost Friends” are just ridicules, episode two was even worse than episode one with the rating of 3.7. I’m also starting to see why the ratings is so low, there’s so much flaws in this drama that I spotted in episode two.

Anyways first off with episode two short summaries then I’ll go onto the flaws of the drama.

Continuing from the previous episode Kaito told Asuka that he’s actually a ghost but was inside a human body. Asuka didn’t believe him at first but when she touches Kaito’s hand it was cold like ice, Kaito gave Asuka his business card so that she could contact her when she have news of Misora (the female ghost in episode one).

Misora were Kaio’s girlfriend, both of them died in a car accident which is where Asuka’s car accident happened. Misora were randomly being inside human bodies and were saying how that’s the new start of her life and it’s so fun etc.

Kaito found Misora inside a top photographer body, both of them finally got a chance to chat but Misora refused to go back where she really belongs. Asuka met Misora on the street they had a little chat at the park, Asuka found out that Misora was Kaito’s girlfriend and saying how being inside of human bodies is fun etc.

While walking to school Takumi asked if he could be friends with Asuka and Asuka replied that she’s not in the mood of talking to guys. Takumi then asked “Do you like someone?” Asuka replied “Maybe…” Could it be Kaito? The art teacher always get bullied and ignored by other students, he doesn’t have the confident in himself. This lead to a ghost who went inside his body, Misora was the one who taught that ghost how to get inside of human bodies. After having a talk with Miku, Asuka decided to think of her own things instead of caring about the ghosts so she accepted Takumi as a friend.

Since Asuka decided not to get involved in Kaito’s and Misora’s problems, she sent the photos that was given to her by Misora to Kaito. While Asuka was walking pass the art teacher at school she saw a ghost who got inside of the art teacher’s body. The art teacher immediately changed and was more passion towards students than he was before. Afterward Asuka saw people on TV who’s glowing, meaning there’s a ghost. She know things are getting out of hand so she contacted Kaito again to discuss about it. Kaito explained about how the accident happened and what happened after they both died.

While Asuka was on the street she got distracted by 3 street gangsters, the art teacher then comes and tries to recue her but instead he got badly beat up and was sent to hospital afterward.

The ghost explained that Misora taught him how to get inside of human bodies, saying how when he was alive he didn’t have the guts to do things so when he’s dead he wants to do things that he couldn’t. Kaito and Asuka persuaded him that it will being trouble to the humans. From then onward that ghost helped the human without being inside an human body and he also felt happy about it.

Kaito received the photos that Asuka sent him, he said that Misora mention she wanted to visit this place and that she rarely will want to visit any places but unfortunately they both died and couldn’t visit the place together. Asuka cheered him up and convincing him to go there as he might find Misora there as well. So the two of them visit the place and they saw Misora there as well, again Kaito trying to persuad Misora to go with him and saying she’s not being herself. Misora then explained that because she loves Kaito so much that she wasn’t being herself before, now that she’s dead she is free to do whatever she wants.

These are some of the flaws I spotted while watching the drama.

Ghost could pick up objects but they cannot touch a human? For example the photo below this was in episode one, Miku was leaning onto Takumi but obviously Takumi didn’t felt someone there. But throughout the drama we can ghosts picking objects up.

Since ghost it’s something that does not have any volume or can be touchable, there shouldn’t be a shadow. But the photo below clearly showed his shadow. I’ve seen some ghost movies like that as well.
Lastly, since Kaito is dead and he’s only inside a human body. Shouldn’t they portray it be two different person for his living and dead life? As we can see in episode two, while Kaito was reading Misora’s blog there’s a photo of him and misora and now he’s dead and inside a human body, it has the same face as his living life?
That’s all, but I’ll still be continuing watching this drama for the sake of Nissy.
