Boys Before Flowers :Gu Hye-sun is recovering in the hospital after the car accident


Before a 16-episode or 24-episode series has completed filming, the drama is aired. In fact, the drama starts airing a couple of episodes into filming! Well, with a schedule like this, the producers and actors are probably highly stressed, because everything has to work like clockwork! Delays and falling behind schedule mean you won't have an episode to show the next week.

Murphy's Law struck for the cast and crew of Boys Before Flowers when lead actress Gu Hye-sun (Geum Jan-di) met with an accident on the 27th February -- yes it was the day of the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards. Which I find too bad it would have been really great so see her in her dress at the awards, maybe she would’ve been walking on the red carpet with Lee Min Ho and who knows tripped with him too. As a result, filming cannot continue and Episode 17 (which was to be aired on 02 March) was delayed. But thankfully they had a plan B and replaced the upcoming episode with a special F4 special with was an interview with all four boys. The Accident


Goo Hye-sun was riding in her car returning from filming location to Seoul. Her car collided with a dump truck, causing her to slam into the seat in front of her. Although initially it was reported that she suffered no damaging injuries, it was later revealed that Hye-sun had to get stitches for a cut at her mouth. Plus the impact had caused swelling to her face and this would certainly hamper filming.

Lee Min-ho to the rescue


In an interview with Goo Hye-sun at the hospital on the 28th Feb, she revealed that her co-star Lee Min-ho (Gu Jun-pyo) was actually the first to arrive at the scene of the accident and promptly whisked her to the hospital for treatment.  Hye-sun said:“After the accident occurred, a van that looked a lot like Lee Min ho’s passed by. With my head ringing, I slightly remember thinking, ‘I wish that was Min ho’s car.’ As the car door opened, it turned out that it was really Min ho, and he began to run toward us. At that time he looked like the savior of the world. Had I gotten to the hospital any later, my recovery would have been later as well. I was so thankful.”Gu Hye-sun watched the Baeksang Arts Awards on TV Being injured and all, Gu Hye-sun couldn't join in the festivities and had to watch the Baeksang on television.
“I was shocked when I saw Lee Min Ho fall on the red carpet. I laughed without even knowing. I thought the stitches in my mouth had come undone (laughs)."Hospital Visitation Her co-stars Lee Min-ho and Kim Hyun-joong -- the two who worked the closest with her in the drama came to visit after the Baeksang awards ceremony. Isnt that adorable. Later, Lee Min-ho went back to work filming the drama. Filming scenes that did not involve Hye-sun of course. Korean entertainers are a hard working bunch!

Kim Bum The new Hotest Actor. / Some like it Hot. Movie

Is Kim Bum becoming one of the new youngest and hotest actor of Korea?
Not only does he play So Yi-jung in the new show Boys Before Flowers, but he also playes in East of Eden.

He also had a role in the movie "Some like it hot" ;) This movie is great, its about the lives of 3 generations of women of are fighting and facing their lifes and love problems. We have the 40 years old swinging single, the young and confused 20 years old who has alot of problem on choosing on her career and her love. And last but not least the highschooler who is on the brink of becoming a woman.


But enough about the movie lets go back to the real deal Kim Bum.
With alot of research and browsing I found out that Kim Bum is terrified of the Wondergirls fans. We all know how fans can be a little crazy sometimes. But Kim Bum cool as he is jokes about it and says that the wondergirls fans are scary, I am definitely going to get shot by a runaway soldier or something ;D
Now how cool is he.

Suiced Commited.

It was another setback and a major one for Boys Before Flowers as one of the actresses, Jang Ja Yun (27) who plays Sunny in the drama and makes life difficult for Jandi as part of the JinSunMi trio was found to have committed suicide in her Bundang home today.According to local police who confirmed the suicide, " Jang Ja Yun was found to have committed suicide in her own home today. She was discovered at around 7.34pm by her sister who then called the police. We are now investigating the case and will give further updates like the reason, her will (if any), etc at a later time." The police also revealed that her approximate time of death was around 4.30pm and that she had hung herself.Friends who knew Jang Ja Yun was shocked by her suicide and expressed, "She had a passion for acting and loved it very much. She was very much a extrovert and we never really expected that she would commit suicide." Her sudden suicide has plunged the entire Boys Before Flowers into shock with the main cast of Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun, etc unable to believe what they have heard after learning of the news from their respective companies. She only recently walked the red carpet at the recent 45th Baeksang Awards with the other 2 members of the JinSunMi trio, showing her excellent figure. She was also going to debut on the big screen with 2 upcoming movies and the future looked bright but her sudden suicide has left people feeling pity for her. What could possibly get worse from here on for Boys Before Flowers? Jang Ja Yun joins a lengthening list of Korean celebrities who have committed suicide in recent years. It's just a very sad situation overall.:( R.I.Pps: she was a great and talented actress.

Boys before flower being extended??

It has been decided that the series will in fact be extended. KBS announced their plan to extend the boys before flowers by an episode. The show will come to an end on Tuesday, March 31 2009 with 25 episodes in total.

The show was originally going to end on the 30th of March with a special episode on the 31st of March. If the extension falls through (they say they are “in serious steps” to rework the contract to include Episode 25), the special episode will be Plan B.
Don’t expect much story addition, though. One sources says that they may merely “draw out” parts that have been filmed to fill out a 25th hour rather than add new story, which (1) may not be a bad thing, since the plot often moves so fast there’s no room to breathe, but (2) on the other hand, may make for a slow finale, as in the case of Coffee Prince.

Preparing my trip to Europe. ;o

So heres the thing...I asked my mother if I could to a trip to Europe this summer (which by the way wouldnt be my first one) and so she agreed but I have to pay for my OWN ticket and also save up some money to do a little of shopping in the wonderful boutiques in Paris & London. *sigh* I cant wait its going to be amazing.
I swore to myself to start saving up money for this trip. Maybe I might even see Stiff Dylans @ a concert in London who knows. :)

I just remembered --; I also need a camera. See I use to have a camera until it broke so I never really took the chance to buy myself a new one.


I was thinking of getting a cool pix camera which is around 119.99$ which isnt so bad.

Stiff Dylans

I think the band Stiff Dylans are AMAZING there music is just so great. Especially Ultraviolet which played in the movie Angus,Thongs and perfect snogging. If you havent seen that movie GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW. Anyways..Its pretty sad they still havent come to Canada for a Concert ;-; please COME. One of my biggest wishes is to meet them and also to see them play Ultraviolet I would be one of the happiest girl ever!

Matsumoto Jun ARGHHH!!! And Hana Yori

My favorite Japanese actor would be none other than...

Matsumoto Jun.



The first time I saw him was when I first started to watch Hana Yori. Which was last year around March. When I saw him and his character Domyoji Tsubaka. I quickly hated him until I noticed in his softer side and his cuteness (Awww.)<---- was what I was thinking.I started to A-D-O-R-E him I even made my friend worship him.



I think in a other life we were meant for each other ;D If he only knew --; Lol.

Plus hes a SINGER what more can you ask from this guy. Hes amazing, the band is known as Arashi they sang most of the songs played on the show Hana Yori.

Was one of my favorite dramas I just loved the plot in this story.

Synopsis
Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.
Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a “tough weed”. She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.
The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

Korean/Japanese Dramas & Movies Obsession!!!

I have a secret to share...I cant speak Japanese nor Korean. But...the funny part is that I just love watching Korean & Japanese Movies/Dramas, I find them very interresting. They seem to always have a funny plot which makes it very interesting to watch, my family usually laughs when I watch since I barely understand what theyre saying (Thank GOD!~There is subs!!) :)
